In Maharashtra, JJ School of Arts, Rachna college - Mumbai, Abhinav College, Symbiosis, MIT College and DSK Infocomm, Pune are quite popular to pursue the above mentioned courses.

Currently, students have to appear for JEE MAINS (Paper 1 & 2 both) and exams like the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) after Std.12 to qualify into the these prestigious colleges. Admission to the B.Arch. and B.Des. programs offered at IITs is on the basis of JEE ADVANCED and an Aptitude Test.
